Cars as a status marker

Wrapped in luxury, Gen Y flaunts a long romance with exquisite samples of cars and bikes – that claims to be an opulent charm of the nation. With the onset of some exquisite models invading in India, innumerable galleries get dressed up in an array of luxury and it is quite easy to understand why those gorgeous wheels mesmerize the futuristic air of the era.

Trimming aspirations to the basic consoles is not the option for Gen Y, to whom owning a car is more a status quotient.  For enthusiasts bearing finer tastes in terms of vehicle performance and other technological specifications, vehicle is more a lifestyle choice. Frenzied lovers seem to pen down cars and bikes with stupendous performance to their wish list, as they aspire to own one.

Reasons for inclination to used cars

Today, vehicles represent an ode to the most intricate craftsmanship. However, strivers who wish to add a bit of dash to their regular lifestyle and amp up social status quotient are among the go getterzzz… as a crusader of culture. While the desire to own a strong player persists in the minds, they may have to compromise on the note of monetary implications. Also, the alike-minded youth are mostly among the first time drivers for such cars, who aren’t really having their hands set on the steering. Hence the obvious inclination falls towards pre owned vehicles, which solely contributes to an equally high demand on the market for used cars in India.
