Hindustan Motors (HM) recently
divested its Chennai plant to an associate company,
Hindustan Motors Finance Corporation. HM is now in talks with some global
automobile firms for setting up a joint venture in Chennai, The plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of
cars under Mitsubishi Motors' licence.
