Used bikes –boon to India’s automobile sector

 used bikes online in India
Used Bikes Online

With increasing competition in economy and inflated cost of resources, efficiency at best possible cost seems to be a challenge. To overcome these factors now Indian automobile industry is inclining towards the second hand bike market.

India being the production hub of all kinds of automobiles is now attracting people who are of will to purchase their own vehicle at lower cost and used bike market gives that option. Quite a large number of people are working in unorganised economic sectors like dairy, casual labour, poultry farming and other domestic help. Thus, people give priority to the second hand bike when it comes to buying a bike for daily commuting because of the affordability factor. Another contributing factor towards the escalation of used bike segment is the money factor as buying a new bike will result into outflow of a big lump sum amount as compared to used bike segment. Nowadays people prefer used bikes for the entertainment purpose as lot of used bikes are purchased and ridden in leisure times just for the sake of enjoyment and are then left in the garage.

Buying a used bike helps people to easily choose from the wide variety of available used bike options and also one can easily buy the model of any make year of that used bike. Complete authentication is another reason that is catering to large sale of used bike segment.

There are many pre-owned bikes that are found in the used bike market. Few among them are Bajaj Platina, TVS XL Super, Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme Disk etc

Shriram Automall offers an exhaustive range of used bikes, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, cars, tractors, etc and helps to make the journey of its customers convenient and smooth.” – Mr. Sameer Malhotra, CEO of SAMIL.

How to Buy a Used Bike

Buying used bikes in India can be an extremely risky task for people, with little knowledge on the trends in automobile industry. This kind of information always results in deals, highly inclined towards looks. After getting attracted to the good looking pre-owned bike, people hardly look at the other aspects to be kept in mind while buying a second-hand bike. But, this practice is not fruitful to spend a long time with a used bike. Apart from the appearance, one should also consider its other aspects that contribute in its better performance.
This first criterion in the selection of a pre-owned bike is to look at the condition of its various parts. If you have to get it repaired after the purchase, it will result in a completely non-profitable deal. So, look out for the buckled wheels, bent cranks or worn tyres before buying your second-hand bike as they require a big pocket for repair.
A bike, suspected to be stolen, always results in criminal dealings. This mean, if you buy such second-hand bike it will be considered as a crime. Hence, before you make a purchase of used bike, do proper research on its history.
To measure the condition of a second-hand bike, check the state of its tyres, wheels, brakes, headset, chain, chainwheel, sprockets, pedals, handlebars, saddle, and many more. This will certainly help you in deciding the total worth of that bike. Also, it will serve as a base for deciding if that particular used bike is worth buying or not.

In order to serve excellence in the automobile industry, Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) has always offered quality options in its every segment. The close association of some incredible names in the industry has always paved way for serving credibility in the form of pre-owned bikes.

“While walking steadily towards a single destiny of immense growth, we have followed the road of transparency and authenticity. And, this is how we aim at diversifying ourselves in the automobile industry” – Mr. Sameer Malhotra

Pre-Owned Bikes – The Perfect Option for an Economical Dream

Biking is the most essential aspect of every man’s life. In a market flooded with various brands, people mostly hunt for the most expensive and attractive options in bikes. But this choice requires a huge pocket to get transformed into a purchase. That is why everyone cannot afford the dream of a good-quality bike. In such a scenario, second-hand bikes come for a rescue. Used bikes are a perfect option to welcome your dream bike in your yard and embrace its experience with a wild ride.

The pre-owned bikes segment of the automobile industry is also flooded with various brands. However, before purchasing a second-hand bike, it is essential to keep certain points in mind like, model, year, type, condition, engine size, mileage and year.

In comparison to a new bike, the purchase of a used bike is more beneficial. It saves a huge amount of your money, which can be further invested in the purchase of some special accessories; thus embellishing your second-hand bike further. One can also negotiate better while buying a used car as it serves a great scope for making a purchase at lower prices.

New media has eventually evolved as an amazing platform for the trade of pre-owned vehicles. With a plethora of options in brands to choose from, this medium is considered to be an authentic source of gaining any information regarding second-hand bikes. Though one can also visit the market to buy such bikes, but it is difficult to end up with an experience which is as convenient as in the case of online.

With world-class services Shriram Automall (SAMIL) serves the most credible options in its second-hand bikes segment. While holding the hands of esteemed manufacturers, the company has always showcased quality pre-owned bikes on all its bidding platforms.

Eye on Used Vehicle Market in India

Indian used vehicle market is expected to hot up with a lot of rank 1 brand proactively lining up their used assets in the said market. Leading brands of both cars and bikes have unveiled plans to expand in the segment.

The trend also shows that more first time drivers are looking to buying a used car and more first-hand car owners are in plans to exchange their assets within four to five years' time. Also, used vehicle market is expected to grow with many original equipment manufacturers launching their used car ventures.

With the flourish of the market for used cars and used bikes, a daunting apprehension has also been growing regarding the authenticity of the assets. Hence it becomes equally important to be knowledgeable enough about the vehicle that you are attempting to buy. A proper pre-purchase inspection is hence required.

While inspecting a used car or pre-owned bike get to your appointment 20 minutes early. The early bid not only catches the worm it might catch the seller polishing the get up like adding fluids etc. to make an engine or transmission run smoother, thereby making the asset convincing enough for selling.

More than believing on the story tellers in this particular segment of market for second hand cars and bikes, you must inspect your selected asset and must not opt for it in case of even a fraction of doubt related to the same.

Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) offers the most transparent platforms to appease the customer’s comfort. Used Bikes in India

Commuter bikes and motorcycles have seen a lot of growth in the recent years. Gone are the days when a bike as basic as the Hero Honda Splendor would vindictively dominate the segment. The winds of change has brought along with it a demand for added features, improved styling and a certain inclination towards technology and performance over and above the must haves like efficiency and comfort. Aspirants with less a budget and in ardent need, have no other way than to incline toward used bikes and commuter motorcycles.

Market for used bikes

And as much as the argument may exist that the two wheeler industry is gradually moving to a higher displacement, market for used bikes continues to bring majority sales for all two-wheeler manufacturers in India. Although style is a very relative term and hasn’t quite been the priority in the past, there’s no denying the fact that in today’s day and age it is the need of the hour. Having said that, in case of used bikes, whether or not it takes preference over practicality is indeed debatable. But to say in the simplest, a fair amalgamation of both is the safest way of playing your cards.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R,ZX-14R may be launched next month in India

Kawasaki may launch their two super-sport motorcycles in India, the ZX-10R and the ZX0-14R by this September, reports Overdrive. There have not been any official announcement in this regard, but expect the ZX-10R and the ZX-14R to be launched in India through completely-built-up (CBU) route with a price tag of around Rs 15 lakh and Rs 17 lakh respectively.

It is likely that both of the motorcycles will be sold through Bajaj’s Pro-Biking dealership which previously had the Kawasaki branding and now replaced with its Austrian company, KTM. Bajaj Auto was planning to launch the Kawasaki ZX-10R in India few years back but Kawasaki was against the Indian authorities’ rule of the number plate on the front and the saree guard. Indian authorities expected the front number plate to be placed on the visor, however Kawasaki objected it as they feared at high speeds the plate might come off and hit the rider which might result in a crash. The low volumes and high operating costs also might have resulted in this decision. However, looks like the company has finally realised the potential of premium motorcycle growth in India looking at Harley Davidson’s sales numbers.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is Japanese company’s flagship model and is powered by a 998cc inline-four liquid cooled engine that develops 197PS and is mated to six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features the S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control) system making this machine a perfect track tool.

The Ninja ZX-14R on the other hand is one of the fastest production motorcycles in the world and is powered by 1441cc inline-four liquid cooled engine. It is sold in the American market with the optional ABS, but we are not sure if the company will launch this variant in India.
