Daimler Trucks optimistic about growth in 2014 through India exports

After observing a remarkable growth in sales from emerging markets, like India, Daimler is quite positive about its trucks business in 2014. It is going to keep India as an export benchmark for African and Southeast Asian markets.

Started in 2013’s second quarter, Daimler’s FUSO brand vehicles (manufactured from its Chennai plant) will continue to be exported to Southeast Asian and African markets in 2014.

Daimler's BharatBenz is going to launch an additional model in Indian market, which is expected to enhance its sales in Asia.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has been associated with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp (its Japanese subsidiary) and BharatBenz for the production of trucks to be exported to growth markets since May 2013.
